Mission Statement

The Osteosynthesis and Trauma Care Foundation or "OTC Foundation" was founded  as an independent Swiss non-profit Foundation in the Canton of Solothurn in 2007.

The Mission of the OTC Foundation is to advance Osteosynthesis and Trauma Care through Research, Education and Best Clinical Practices.

STRASBOURG, FRANCE The OTC Foundation held its first Hand and Distal Radius Cadaveric Course at IRCAD on October 27-28, 2009. Chaired by Prof. Filip Stockmans, along with seven international faculty members, the course addressed fractures and plating techniques as well as case discussions. Read More...

 

TORONTO, CANADA – Biomechanical Research Fellow Asmaa Maloul is currently completing her studies at the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory in Toronto, Canada. She will study in Toronto until September 30, 2009. The topic of her project is: "Biomechanical Characterization of Complex Thin Bone Structures in the Human Craniofacial Skeleton."
